Macai Moore is an excellent class of 2024 linebacker prospect that attends Paramus Catholic High School in Paramus, New Jersey. Solid 6'0, 200lb frame. Athletic with good quickness, strength and aggression. Versatile can play inside or outside backer position at the next level. Team Captain (Natural Leader). Great run stopper. First Team All Division Linebacker selection in 2023; finished senior year with 102 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, 1 Sack, 5 Fumble Recoveries and 1 defensive touchdown.

Macai is physical, has a nose for the ball and is a very sound tackler. Plays with good pad level and technique, engages and sheds blocks very well. Makes a lot of plays at or behind the line of scrimmage. Film displays good play recognition, ability to get to the ball and finish consistently. Good lateral quickness sideline to sideline. Solid in space and coverage situations. Impacts the game in a variety of ways on the defensive side of the ball and also does a great job on special teams.

High character kid with great leadership qualities. Leads vocally and by example. Well respected by his teammates, coaches. teachers and classmates. High football IQ, extremely coachable and a true student of the game. Loves to study film. Excellent work ethic and is very competitive. Gets after it in the weight room as well.

Academically Macai is an Honor Roll student and maintains a 3.4 GPA. He is an excellent young man that definitely has the ability to play at the higher collegiate levels. He would be an asset and solid addition for many college football programs.
