Personal Message

Prospective Coaches,

My name is Brooke Allen and I want to thank you for visiting my First State Preps player profile. This upcoming year, I will be attending Jefferson High School in Shenandoah Junction, West Virginia. I've lettered for the Varsity Softball team at Jefferson both my freshmen and sophomore year. I have been blessed to earn and earned All-EPAC distinctions at the highest level (3A) in West Virginia while competing against future D1 & D2 commits in the surrounding area.
I am a right-hand hitter and right-handed thrower. My primary position is 1st and my secondary position is pitcher although I’m willing to play wherever I can assist in making the team better. I view myself as selfless and willing to do whatever is needed to achieve the ultimate goal of making my team the best, we can be by being a leader both with actions displayed on and off the field.

I started playing at the age of five. I was one of two girls on the tee ball team and eventually the only one on the baseball team as I aged through the rankings. At the age of 10, I made the transition to softball and quickly fell in love with the game when I joined my first travel team. Along the way, I made many friends and memories that will remain with me for a lifetime. I was also fortunate to had the opportunity to learn the game from many great coaches. I know without them I wouldn't be the player or person that I am today.

Today, I’m playing on a competitive travel team called Team Virginia Mizuno Ordaz. We are a 16u A team that is playing at the 18u A level. I love game and the challenges it possesses. I challenge of learning, improving and achieving is something that drives me. I want to be the best and I dedicate myself to achieve that goal. I currently have a personal trainer as well as a hitting and pitching coach. I live by the motto of working hard during my off time so that the game is easy.

I know that softball will not last forever, so I also take great pride in my education. I currently carry a 3.75 GPA. I recently have been accepted in the Shepherd University Dual Enrollment Program. This program will allow me to obtain both High School and College credits for my upcoming Junior and Senior years of school. When I graduate from High School, I will have a total of 24 college credits.

I want to thank you for taking your time to review my profile and I look forward to meeting you and showing you the person, I am on and off the field.
