Jack Kennedy is an excellent class of 2024 point guard that attends Camp Hill High School in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. Distinguished Honor Roll student that maintains a 4.0 GPA and scored in the top 6% in the nation on his SAT with a 1400 composite SAT score.

Great leader on and off the court, efficient scorer and ultimate competitor. True Point guard. Consistent and good range on his outside shot, very solid mid-range game. High basketball IQ and knows how to get to his spots offensively. Can score the basketball in a variety ways. Very crafty, quick trigger from deep. Excellent ball handler. Finishes well in traffic with either hand. Excellent floater in the lane.

Jack see's the floor very well and is a team first guy. Plays the game the right way. Very unselfish but also knows how to pick his spots when needed. Solid on ball and off ball defender. He uses foot speed and athleticism to keep constant ball pressure on opposing guards. Plays passing lanes well and is very active on defense. Displaying quick and active hands. Very scrappy defender.

Jack is extremely coachable, has an excellent work ethic and is a high character kid. Absolutely loves to compete! If your program is need of a tough point guard, with high IQ that can also score the ball; Jack is certainly a 2024 prospect to keep on your radar.

Personal Message

My name is John (Jack) Kennedy, class of 2024, and I attend Camp Hill High School in central Pennsylvania. I am a point guard/shooting guard who has played for the following AAU teams: Team Pennsylvania, Mid-Penn Motion, and Fast Break Basketball Academy. I am interested in playing basketball in college.

I am a well-conditioned guard and use that to bring energy to the floor as I am known to play hard until a whistle is blown no matter what the score may be. I’m able to use my quickness and agility all game long to grab steals, get involved in the fastbreak, and quickly get back on defense. I found success in the most recent high school varsity basketball season in making the list for the 2022-2023 Mid-Penn Statistics Leaders in 4 categories (points per game, 3 pointers made, assists, and steals).

My coaches and teammates have described me as a natural leader and a well-liked teammate not only on my basketball team, but on my soccer team as well. For as long as I can remember, I have never been without a ball in hand. I found basketball at a very young age and have had a love for the game ever since I first stepped on the court.

Although I have devoted much of my time to this sport, my academics have always come first as I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school and intend to continue doing the same. As I aim to challenge myself on the court, I also challenge myself in the classroom as my courses at Camp Hill consist of honors and AP level classes.

In regards to my attitude during the game, I do my best to keep my cool when faced with a call that doesn’t go my way. For my attitude at practice, I see myself as a very coachable player and always encourage advice and critiques on how to improve my game.

That being said, I am eager to learn the ins and outs of playing basketball at the collegiate level and to connect with college coaches and players.
