David Jannuzzi is an excellent class of 2026 point guard that attends Wilkes-Barre Area High School in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Distinguished Honor roll student that maintains a 4.0 GPA. Varsity starter as a freshman; has played competitive AAU basketball for 7+ years. Finished his freshman season with a per game average of 22.5 points, 6.5 assists, 5.8 rebounds and 2.5 steals. All State and All Conference recognition. Shot 85% from the stripe and 61% from beyond 3 point range.
Great leader, efficient scorer and ultimate competitor. David is compact at 5'9 / 165 pounds. Solid frame. Consistent and good range on his outside shot, very solid mid range game. High basketball IQ and knows how to get to his spots offensively. Can score the basketball in a variety ways. Very crafty, quick trigger from deep. Excellent ball handler. Finishes well in traffic with either hand. See's the floor very well and is a team first guy. Great passer. Plays the game the right way. Very unselfish but also knows how to pick his spots when needed. Solid on ball and off ball defender. Plays passing lanes well and is very active on defense. Leads vocally and by example. Outstanding work ethic and competitive spirit.
Jannuzzi projects as a very solid class of 2026 point guard prospect and as he continues to grow physically he will certainly be an asset and great addition for many college basketball programs. Definitely a 2026 guard to have on your radar.

Prospective Coaches,
My name is David Jannuzzi Jr and I'm a class of 2026 point guard that attends Wilkes-Barre Area High School in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. I'm a 2 year varsity starter, and an All State / All Conference perfomer. Last year as a freshman I averaged 22.5 points, 6.4 assists, 5.8 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game. I play AAU for Wyoming Valley Clutch.
I am an honor roll student, member of the National Honors Society and maintain a 4.0 GPA. I take my academics just as serious as my athletics.
My love for the game of basketball is unmatched. Everytime I step onto that floor nothing else in life matters. Whoever I'm playing against is trying to stop me from getting what I want in my future in this sport and I won't let them take it from me. I play every game like it's my last. Basketball means everything to me. I just love to pick up a ball whether I'm happy or sad. Playing ball is always the best part of my day. I won't let anybody stand in the way of my goal of playing at the collegiate level.
