John Clemmons II is an excellent class of 2023 shooting guard/point guard that attends Caravel Academy in Bear, Delaware. Top 15 selection, 2nd Team All State & 1st Team All Conference performer in 2021-22 season. 3 year varsity starter. Team Captain. Honor Roll Student, 2.85 GPA.
John is a great competitor, Multi dimensional scorer and great defender. Excellent Shooter! Great size and length at 6’5”, 185 pounds. Long and lean muscular frame. His strength and athleticism helps him to get to his spots and elevate over defenders pretty easily. Always a threat from 3 point range. Smooth, consistent shooting motion. He’s a very good ball handler and can beat defenders off the dribble and use his athleticism to also finish at or above the rim. He see's the floor very well has a knack for making the right play when he’s driving to the basket. Excellent passer.
Defensively Clemmons is a very good on ball and off the ball defender. He plays the passing lanes very well, block shots extremely well as a guard and can quickly turn defense into offense. Excellent rebounder as well averaging close to 8 rebounds per contest. His athleticism, long arms and size create problems for his opponents.
John finished his junior season with a per game average of 18.5 points, 4.5 assist, 8 rebounds and 2 steals per contest.
Outstanding work ethic, drive and competitive spirit. Very high character kid. Great teammate.
John Clemmons II has high level potential and would be an asset and great addition for many college basketball programs. He is definitely a 2023 combo guard that should be on your radar.

Prospective Coaches,
My name is John Clemmons II and I am a Class of 2023 Shooting Guard/Point Guard attending Caravel Academy in Bear, Delaware. I have dreams of playing at the collegiate level and believe I have the size, athletic ability, work ethic, academic requirements and competitiveness to make that dream a reality. I would be very grateful to be considered for your 2023 recruiting class.
I am providing all of my information and up to date video for your evaluation and would love to visit your campus and possibly attend any prospect day/camp events that you may be hosting in the future. My hope is to meet your staff in person. Per your request, I can also provide my upcoming spring/summer AAU schedule so you can plan to see me play live in person.
As your time permits, please review the video links under my video section. It will give you a good picture of my playing style and ability. I am a 3 year varsity starter, Top 15 Selection, 2nd Team All State and 1st Team All Conference performer. This past season(2021-22) I averaged 18.5 points, 5 assists and 8 rebounds per game. I am a complete player, can score the ball at all three levels and am a very a solid defender. The videos in my profile will showcase my abilities.
