Gavin Tucker is a solid class of 2023 safety/linebacker prospect that attends Appoquinmink High School in Middletown, Delaware. 3 Year Varsity Letterman, Team Captain. Honor Roll Student that maintains a 3.3 GPA.
5'11" / 175 pounds. Athletic frame, solid build. Displays good feet, athleticism and strength. Relentless motor. Physicality of a LB, possesses that athleticism and speed to play safety or linebacker at the next level.
Great competitor, good instincts, high IQ, fearless tackler, and solid in pass coverage.
Gavin has a positive attitude, great work ethic and is extremely coachable. A natural leader who leads vocally and by example. Absolutely refuses to be out worked. Trains year round with a strength and conditioning coach as well as a speed coach.
Gavin had a productive junior year campaign in 2021 and is poised to have a very solid senior season for Appoquninmink HS in 2022.
Gavin has all of the intangibles that you want to see in a college prospect and would be an asset for many collegiate football programs.

Personal Message
Prospective Coaches:
My name is Gavin Tucker. I’m from Middletown, Delaware and a member of the 2023 graduating class of Appoquinimink High School.
I play Linebacker and Safety positions on my high school varsity team. On the field, I contribute the most to the pass game and outside run/jet sweep defense because I can get out my stance quickly, track the ball, and move sideline to sideline to make tackles. I also continue to learn different defensive coverages as well as how to better read offensive lines, and better ways to get off blocks.
I want to play college football because I love the sport. I work on my craft every day. I am always in the weight room or working on something I need to improve. I maintain a constant off-season workout schedule to keep my body, footwork, and endurance in the best shape possible. I am always watching film on my opponent studying ways to beat them.
As a student I am hard working, focused, behaved, and very engaged in the classroom. I currently have a 3.23 GPA. My pathway is Engineering. I’m pursuing Robotics Engineering in high school and plan to major in Engineering in college.
My goals are continuing to be an honor roll student-athlete, winning a championship, making first team All-District and top 100 for DIAA.
