Scouting Report
Logan Smith is an excellent 2022 offensive line prospect that attends Dover High School in Dover, Delaware. A 6'3 & 280-pound Offensive guard who displays good feet, athleticism and strength. Great attitude, is very coachable and a team guy.
Logan uses his hands well and displays good balance and a strong base. Sound in pass protection. Great run blocker. He is definitely a knee bending. In the run game, Logan uses a combination of size, strength, and technique to control the line of scrimmage and win the point of attack. He fires off the ball quickly and consistently drives opposing lineman backward. He will dominate more when he learns to keep his pad level low for greater leverage. He demonstrates good spatial awareness with an instinctual feel for cut-off angles. I am impressed with how he quickly blocks down to stun the opposing DT before getting into the second level to eliminate the LB from the play.
In the passing game, Logan Smith has a quick first step when dropping into pass protection and does a solid job of walling up to give the QB a lane to step up and deliver the ball. If uncovered, he keeps his head on a swivel to help pick up an oncoming stunt or blitz. Again, a lower stance and lower pad level will help create a better leverage advantage as opposing players become bigger and stronger. Has collegiate potential as a guard or center depending on the level and needs of the school. He is a natural leader for his team mates.
We project Logan as a solid collegiate level prospect at a center or guard. He has excelled playing multiple positions and is very versatile. Logan is a flat out good "football player" who loves the game. A "team" guy who will do whatever is needed and asked of him to benefit the overall team. He is an excellent student with a 3.9 GPA and should be considered by many college football programs.

My name is Logan Smith and I'm a class of 2022 offensive lineman that attends Dover High School in Dover, Delaware. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and evaluate my 2020 game film. I'm currently a member of the National Honor Society, have a 3.9 GPA and I would love to be considered for your 2022 recruiting class!
It has always been my goal to get my degree and compete at the college level. I am a natural leader who brings the juice to a team. I work hard to achieve my goals, my coaches’ goals, and the overall team goals. I am a person that is intelligent, curious, and hardworking. I am natural leader who plans and prepares extensively for every task I embraces. My team mates find my demeanor and character approachable, reliable, and trustworthy. I don't deserve to play at the college level, no one really deserves anything. You have to earn it, and I intend on earning that right to say I played at the collegiate level by working hard every single day of my life. I will work to better my teammates, my coaches, myself and everyone around me. I will do this by excelling at everything I do, whether that be in the weight room, in the classroom, or in my everyday life.
I would like to get my degree in Engineering. All I am looking for is the opportunity to showcase my ability as a football player. If given the chance I will show you that any risk you may feel you are taking will be outweighed by the reward you will gain by having me in your program.
