Joseph Pargoe is a very solid class of 2021 football prospect that attends Red Lion Christian Academy in Bear, Delaware. Distinguished Honor Roll student, High academic-- 4.5 GPA, ranked 3rd overall in his grad class. AP Course credits.
Versatile and very athletic. Solid frame, 5'9 / 185 pounds. Has played multiple positions over the course of his career and his film will showcase him at Linebacker, Running Back, Tight End and Receiver. 4-year varsity starter and 3-time All Conference performer at Linebacker and Tight End. Two Sport Athlete-- Also one of the top wrestlers in the state in his weight class (Finished 4th overall in 2019-20).
On the defensive side of the ball (outside linebacker) Pargoe is very physical for his size, showcases good speed, quickness and has a nose for the ball. Very sound open field tackler. Plays with good pad level and technique, engages and sheds blocks very well. Makes a lot of plays at or behind the line of scrimmage. Film displays good play recognition, ability to get to the ball and finish consistently. Good feet and ball skills in coverage. Impacts the game in a variety of ways from his linebacker position. In 2020 Pargoe led his team in tackles (79), sacks (7) and tackles for loss (19); finishing as the states 2nd leading tackler overall while only playing 7 games during a Covid19 shortened season.
Offensively Pargoe is very versatile and his high school did a great job moving him around to showcase his skill set (Tight End, Running Back, Receiver). He's a "DO IT ALL" type of player and is definitely a "TEAM" guy. Very good in space, showcases great hands and runs cleans routes. Great feet. Physical runner when the ball is in his hands, has good speed, quickness and lateral movement. Shows the ability to make tacklers miss. Was a playmaker for his offense.
Joseph Pargoe is an excellent young man that definitely has the ability to play at the collegiate level. Very high character, leads vocally and by example. Has a great work ethic and is well respected by his teammates and coaches. Loves the weight room and is extremely coachable. Great film study habits.
Pargoe would be an asset and solid addition for many college football programs.

Prospective Coaches,
My name is Joseph Pargoe and I'm a class of 2021 LB/TE/RB that attends Red Lion Christian Academy in Bear, Delaware. I currently have a 4.5 GPA and have been a straight "A" student every marking period since my freshman year in high school. It has always been one of my dreams to play football at the collegiate level. Nothing makes me more happy than strapping on the pads and playing a game of football. I am versatile and willing to play multiple positions in order for my team to be successful. I would love to be considered as one of your 2021 recruits. I am a great student in the classroom, sit in the front row in all of my classes and never am late or miss any assignments. I have been a straight A student every marking period since 9th grade. I am a natural leader and team captain for our football team. I try to always lead vocally and by example.
I love the game of football, working out and just getting better at everything I do on a daily basis. I am also one of the top wrestlers in the state in my weight class and I think both sports have added to my overall competitiveness as a student athlete.
