Even with his size, Nathaniel Dorris shows very decent speed. He is projected as a corner infielder at the next level. With the combination of a good first step and quick release of the ball he has the ability to make above average plays in the field.

In the box with a tall stance there is still plenty of changes in mechanics that will increase power. Nathaniel shows power to all fields as he constantly drives balls into the gaps. With a strong font side, with increase hip shoulder separation, his bat control and power will all increase.

Nathaniel on the mound is a strong powerful arm who, with cleaned up mechanics will increase velocity. With a loose arm action and a fastball that has a two plane movement profile it constantly misses bats. He pairs a 11/6 curveball that he gets swings and misses out of the zone. He also shows a straight change that tunnels well off his fastball.

Nathaniel Dorris is a great utility guy who projects as a corner infielder, however but can also help out on the mound due to his high strike percentage and the ability to get swings and misses out of the zone. An under the radar 2022 with loads of potential. Dorris would be an asset to many college programs across the nation!
