Shawn Lewis Jr is an excellent class of 2021 point guard that attends Central Dauphin East High School in Harrisburg , Pennsylvania . Lewis Jr is a floor general in its truest form. He’s a great leader, great facilitator, versatile scorer and ultimate competitor on both sides of the ball. Lewis Jr stands at 5 feet and 6 inches tall but don’t let the size deter you. Lewis Jr puts a ton of work in on strength, explosiveness, quickness and conditioning and knows how to use these attributes to make up for his lack of height. Lewis is a flat out shooter from the mid range and three point area. He also has a very effective and consistent floater, which he uses in variety of ways.
His high efficiency as a shooter, very craft ball handling skills, knack for getting to his spots on the floor, combined with his high basketball IQ makes him a nightmare for defenders trying to defend him in a pick and roll or penetrate and kick offense.
Lewis Jr has excellent ball handling skills and finishes well in traffic with either hand. He has a very unique ability to keep his dribble alive in order to make the “TEAM FIRST” play the majority of the time . He’s very unselfish but he also knows how to get a basket when the team needs it. He’s a very pesky on ball and off ball defender. Plays passing lanes well and is very active on defense.
Shawn Lewis Jr is a gym rat. His father, Shawn Lewis Sr is a Pro/College/High School trainer in the Harrisburg Area of Pennsylvania, so Lewis Jr is always training and working on his game or fitness willingly! He understands that people underestimate him because of his height and you can see that he plays with so much effort and passion because of the chip on his shoulder that the critics have led to. It always manifest in a positive way, which also shows the high character that this kid has!
Shawn Lewis Jr would be an asset and great addition for many college basketball programs.

Personal Message
Dear Prospective Coaches:
My name is Shawn Lewis Jr and I am a point guard, part of the class of 2021 at Central Dauphin East High School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
From the moment I was able to pick up a basketball, I began to learn the game. I have grown up around multiple college players from all levels and had the opportunity to watch them, study them and learn how to play the game. I’ve been able to watch the mindset and work ethic that it takes to get to the college level and succeed.
Not only did I watch them, but very early on I decided to do as I saw them doing. I decided that I wanted to play college basketball also and I committed my whole life to making it happen. I spend countless hours in the gym working on my game with my dad (college/pro basketball trainer), the players he trains, my teammates , or alone.
Everyday I commit to working on my skills, understanding of the game, or developing my body physically to be able to succeed at the next level.
I believe I understand the sacrifices that must be made in order to become a successful college student athlete and I enjoy this whole process of preparing for that! From staying up late to make sure homework is complete, to missing time with family and friends so that I can get a workout in; I am fully committed to earning the opportunity! I believe I can contribute to a college team and I believe I possess the basketball IQ that a coach wants to see in their point guard.
