Kiersten Hostetter is a 5’4”/140lb Point Guard in the class of 2022 that attends Lampeter Strasburg High school in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Kiersten is a true point guard with so much experience already! Kiersten has already played 5 years of AAU basketball with a very competitive Mid Penn Motion 2022 club out of the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area. Kiersten is their starting point guard and a huge part of their success. Kiersten also played varsity as a freshman this year for her high school team.
Kiersten’s strength, ball handling , above average IQ, and work ethic, and toughness make her extremely difficult to be looked over.
Kiersten is a true point guard that can effect the game without scoring a point. She can be your point guard that creates opportunities for your post players and shooters by penetrating and finding the open teammates. She can also play off the ball and come of down screens to knock down very fluid looking 3 point shots.
Even though she is on the shorter side, she’s also a must see on the defense side of the ball. Her basketball IQ is on full display on this side of the ball also. She uses her strength and savvy to always keep players in front of her. She’s also has a knack for the ball, always in proper help position to come up with off the ball steals.
Kiersten is also a very good soccer player! She plays for an elite level soccer club named PA Classics in her second sport. Kiersten’s lateral quickness, foot work, excellent conditioning, and great instincts developed in soccer are often put on display on the basketball court.
Kiersten is an excellent student with a 3.68 GPA. She is an extremely committed young lady and that does not exclude a commitment to responsibility and character. Kiersten still has so much time to develop and is certainly an athlete to track in the 2022 class.

AAU Coach's Evaluation:
I love coaching Kiersten, she always comes to play. She is one of the hardest working girls I know. She spends hours outside of practice working on her ball handling, shooting, speed and strength. Her command of the offense and the flow of the game is advanced, and she has a high basketball IQ. When we are pressured, we look to get the ball into her hands because she always makes the smart play and doesn’t turn the ball over. She has always been a great ball handler and slasher, but over the last two years has developed into a knockdown shooter. One of her greatest qualities is her ability to get her teammates good shots. She is an excellent passer.

My name is Kiersten Hostetter. Basketball has been a part of my life since I was 4 years old. I love playing the game and the daily challenge of becoming a better player. I am determined to become the best player and teammate I can be. Playing at the college level has always been a dream of mine!
