Matthew Meadows is an excellent young soccer prospect. A class of 2019 striker/outside mid with great speed and athleticism. Matt has been playing competitive soccer for over 10 years and plays for one of the most premier soccer clubs in the state; the Delaware Rush. As a freshman Matt has had an immediate impact for his high school varsity team and is currently one of the teams leading goal scorers. Matt has a high soccer I.Q. and is a fearless, physical player. He has great speed, vision and a very strong right foot. He plays well when the ball is in the air and understands how to use his body and quickness to control the ball. Matt will make an immediate impact this year on his high school team as an incoming freshman. A kid with great work ethic who eats, breaths and sleeps soccer; Matt has the foundation and potential to be a high level player. He's a 2019 prospect that you are going to want to have on your recruiting radar. An excellent student as well with a 3.6 GPA; Matt Meadows will be an asset to many college programs.

Matt is an incredible attacker and all-around player. Matt's speed, determination and ability to finish make him one of the elite forwards in the state. Matt can finish with all parts of his body and is a player that opposing defenses must account for. He would be a great addition for any college soccer program.

Personal Message
My name is Matt Meadows and I am looking for a great academic college to attend and to play collegiate soccer for. Thank you for taking the time to review my attached athletic profile link which provides all game footage video and academic/athletic accomplishments for your evaluation. As you will see I am a goal scorer for each team I play for and have been since I was very young. I am currently a Junior at Appoquinimink High and have been on the Varsity team since I was a Freshman starting 28 games. Over the past 2 years I have set school records for both goals by a Freshman and by a Sophomore. My high school game schedule is also posted in my profile under the "schedule" section tab; would love it if you or a member from the staff could make it out to watch me play this season.
In the classroom I have also done very well. For my high school career I have a 3.7 GPA while taking all honor classes and have consistently been on the honor role. I am planning to study Business / Marketing in college and have an interest in starting my own business after college.
For club soccer I play for Delaware Rush which is a highly ranked club that plays in the National League. Over the past few years our team has won some major tournament including Jefferson Cup's top division and has done very well in both National League (2nd place 2017) and Regional League (3rd place 2016). I am a starting forward for the team and am currently leading the team in scoring this year. I also play for the Delaware ODP team.
