David Nichols is an athletic 2020 shooting guard that attends Glasgow High School in Newark, Delaware. 6'2 / 180 pounds. Long athletic frame. 2 Year varsity starter and all conference performer. Team Captain. Voted 2018-19 Glasgow High Team Offensive MVP. Excellent shooter with consistent range and quick release. Averaged 15pts, 4 assists and 4 rebounds per game during his junior season (2018-19). Solid ball handler, finishes well at or above the rim. High basketball IQ, really strong mid range pull up, knows how to get to his spots and can create his own shot. 47.5% shooter from behind the 3 point line and an 89% free throw shooter. Athleticism affords him the ability to finish well at the rim and in traffic with either hand. Dunks with ease.
Defensively David has active hands, long arms and anticipates really well. Creates turnovers by jumping passing lanes or deflections. Quick feet and solid on ball defender. Good lateral quickness. 178 lb frame has room for physical development as David is focusing more on strength training in preparation for the next level.
Great work ethic, high character kid. Extremely coachable. Unselfish and a "team guy". Plays the game the right way. His coaches have nothing but positive remarks in regards to his ability, and character. Honor Roll student with a 3.1 GPA. David Nichols would be an asset for many college basketball programs. He is certainly a prospect in the 2020 class to consider.

My name is David Nichols and I am a Class of 2020 Shooting Guard, attending Glasgow High School in Newark, Delaware. I have dreams of playing at the collegiate level and believe I have the size, athletic ability, work ethic, academic requirements and competitiveness to make that dream a reality. I would be very grateful to be considered for your 2020 recruiting class. I am providing all of my information and up to date video for your evaluation and would love to visit your campus and possibly attend any prospect day/camp events that you may be hosting in the future. My hope is to meet your staff in person. Per your request, I can also provide my upcoming spring/summer AAU Showcase schedule so you can plan to see me play live in person.
