Sydni Greenwood is an aggressive, smart and sharp class of 2020 volleyball athlete that attends MOT Charter HS in Middletown, Delaware. She plays club volleyball for Delaware United Volleyball club. Very athletic and versatile. She is quick, flexible and explosive. She plays OH, MB and can play RS. Sydni stands 5 ft 8 in tall and has an approach touch of 9 ft 1 inches. She will be getting tested again soon. While she has a good arm and can swing with authority, she also has enough court awareness to place a ball for a point. She is a selfless player and willing to play any role needed by her coaches. Her raw athleticism will make her a solid prospect for coaches looking for a kid that can do many things very well. Sydni is also a great student. She holds a 3.75 GPA in the classroom. Sydni is considered a leader on and off the court and leads vocally and by example. High character, great work ethic and very competitive.
Sydni Greenwood would be an asset for many college volleyball programs and is certainly a 2020 prospect to consider. Personal Message
My name is Sydni Greenwood. I currently attend MOT Charter High School in Middletown and will be graduating in the spring of 2020. I have been playing volleyball for 4 years and am typically playing as an Outside, Middle or Right Side Hitter. I maintain a 3.75 GPA and I am interested in playing in college. I would like to be evaluated for your 2020 recruiting class.
Ever since I started playing volleyball I grew a love for the sport. It became an out for when I'd be overwhelmed or stressed. This helped me become a natural leader on both my high school and club teams. On the court, I'm known to be the one with the constant smile on her face ready for the next play and to give it all I have. During my last two seasons, I am determined to push myself as a leader and a player to become the best I can be.
When I graduate, I want to play volleyball at the next level and pursue a career in Nursing. I intend to go to a school that has a volleyball program where I feel it can be my home away from home. I also intend to go to a school that thinks not just about the athletic program, but the academic program as well. In college, I plan to be the one who encourages others to want to play and be their best and to never give up. I also want to help bring out the more competitive side of others. I believe I can play at the next level and for a college team because of my athleticism, work ethic, and team building skills as well as my balance between academic and athletic life. Any consideration for your 2020 class would be greatly appreciated!
