Scouting Report
Izzy Vogel is an amazingly talented athlete with so much upside! A class of 2021 basketball prospect that attends Central Dauphin HS in Harrisburg PA; Izzy is 5”11 with a wingspan that makes her easily more like 6’3”. This size matched with her outstanding athletic ability makes Izzy a walking mismatch on both ends of the basketball court. Izzy’s natural position is a shooting guard, because she is a very good shooter from 3 point range and mid range. However, Izzy has the ball handling skills, court vision, athleticism, strength, slashing and finishing ability to play positions 1 through 4 in any starting high school line up. Izzy also has the ability to defend those positions, and at a very high level.
Izzy is a two sport athlete and it’s obvious that her foot quickness, lateral movement, endurance and instincts are a direct relation to her years of playing high level travel soccer.
Izzy continues to improve her abilities because she loves to play basketball and shows a true commitment to being the best she can be. Izzy puts in extra skill work and functional fitness training with one of the best trainers in Central Pa., Mr. Scott Singer to make sure she’s doing what it takes to out work her opponents.
Izzy is able to go above and beyond to excel on the basketball court, on the soccer field and in the classroom. She maintains a 4.0 GPA while taking honors and AP classes. She is a 2021 prospect to track and keep an eye on. With her continued growth and physical maturity Izzy Vogel projects as an athlete that would be an asset for many college basketball programs.

Personal Message
Dear Prospective Coaches,
Basketball has been a huge part of my life from a very young age and something I want to continue doing in college. Playing the sport has taught me to be efficient with my time and schoolwork. Playing college basketball will help me to continue time management in my course of study. Having a supportive team will ease the adjustment to college life because I will have instant friendships. Those friendships can carry on throughout the rest of my life.
Basketball has taught me leadership, working with others, and resilience. Through basketball, I have built a better understanding for people I meet and I have assembled toughness when performing tasks. I aspire to play at the highest level possible, making the Freshman Team in 7th and 8th grade and Varsity my freshman year. I have participated on the top team in the central Pennsylvania region for the same AAU organization since 5th grade.
My competitive mindset started at a young age and I am excited to carry this to the college level. To make this happen, I will stay on top academically, go to personal training sessions every week, lift twice a week, and practice shooting on a regular basis.
