Troy Haynes Jr is a solid 2019 quarterback prospect that attends Woodbridge High School in Greenwood, Delaware. Showcases a solid 5'11" /180 lbs. frame; strong arm and can make all the throws necessary to be successful at the next level. Troy has great running ability which makes him a dual threat. In the last two seasons, Troy has accounted for over 2300 yards passing and gained over 1200 yards on the ground with 30 touchdowns. Led Woodbridge High to a state title in 2016. He has a running back's ability to fit through small holes along the offensive line, change-of-direction ability, lateral quickness, and impressive burst with his first several steps. The most impressive things about Troy in the pocket are his ability to feel pressure and move with ideal ball security -- both hands on the football -- while still keeping his eyes downfield and his ability to look off defenders and go through his progressions. There's not a lot of high school quarterback film that shows that clearly, but Troy's does. He has excellent work ethic, study habits and a solid understanding of breaking down defenses and recognizing coverage. A true student of the game. Fierce competitor that leads vocally and by example.

Troy is comfortable in spread sets and pistol formations as well as under center. He has a great 3 step and 5 step drop from the gun or under center. Solid base, transfers weight very well. He is technically sound, and throws well from the pocket or on the move. Troy has great leadership qualities and is well respected by his coaches, teammates and classmates. A high character kid with excellent work ethic and a passion to always improve; Troy Haynes carries a 3.34 GPA and would be an asset for many college football programs.
