Lamar Woody is an extremely talented class of 2018 combo guard that attends Howard Vo Tech in Wilmington, Delaware. 1000 point scorer, 3 year varsity starter, All State recognition his junior and senior year. Lamar is 6'2" / 170 lbs, and is very athletic. A very high character kid with a great personality and positive attitude. Can play the one or two guard position and has a scorers mentality. Team captain who averaged 21.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game his senior year(led team in all categories).
Displays a solid overall game and can score the ball from anywhere on the floor, has a great feel for the game. Great competitor. Solid mid range game, deep range beyond the 3 point line. Knows how to get to his spots on the floor an can create his own shot. Solid ball handler. Has an excellent work ethic and a deep passion for the sport of basketball. Gym rat. His size and athleticism allow him to finish at or above the rim, has good bounce. Can finish with either hand and good in traffic. Rebounds well from his guard position and his long arms and athleticism allow him to be disruptive on the defensive end jumping passing lanes and getting deflections to start fast break opportunities.
A solid weight training program would do him well as he will need to get physically stronger for the next level, but already possesses all the tools needed to be a solid collegiate ball player. Finished his career at Howard High as the schools 3rd leader scorer all time (1100+pts); earned All State and Top 15 recognition as a senior and was named the DIAA Blue Gold Senior All Star game MVP with a 21 point, 7 reb, 4 ast performance against the best senior basketball players in the state. Lamar would be an asset for many college basketball programs.

I am a 4 year varsity letterman, 3 year starter and 1000+ point career scorer.
