Marlie Dickerson is an extremely talented class of 2022 basketball prospect that attends Central Dauphin High School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. A tremendous athlete who also is a very skilled soccer player, Marlie has all of the tools and athletic attributes that you would look for in a young prospect with collegiate projected ability. A point guard that is very athletic with long arms and wingspan. Because of her size, tenacity and athleticism Marlie rebounds well for a guard, plays great on ball defense. She has the quickness and basketball I.Q. to play passing lanes and get steals. Offensively shows a very explosive first step, with great footwork and body control from years of Cross Fit Training. Has great court vision with the ability to see the floor at all times. Solid ball handler, can finish with either hands at the rim. Has good range on her jump shot and play's the game the right way. Unselfish, very encouraging to her teammates. Leads vocally and by example. Excellent work ethic; solid student with a 3.3 GPA.
Marlie has all the characteristics coaches would want to see in a young prospect and with continued growth and development she projects as a solid class of 2022 collegiate prospect. She is certainly an athlete that you want to keep an eye on in the 2022 class.

"Marlie Dickerson is a joy to coach! She is extremely coachable, dedicated and committed to out working whomever she steps on the court with. Her work ethic outside of normal practices is what also separates her from other student- athletes her age and older. Her 5'9'' athletic frame is complimented well by her love for soccer (second sport) and CrossFit. Because of these two extracurricular activities; Marlie has amazing Core to extremity strength, ,metabolic conditioning, foot quickness, hand eye coordination, and metal toughness. All great attributes a coach wants to see in a player. These things only magnify what she can do on the basketball court. She has a great handle with the basketball! She has a great first step, change of pace and direction. Marlie penetrates to the basket and finishes well, however her ability to find open teammates when penetrating is what separates her from most.
She is a very solid jump shot shooter from mid range and three point range which seems to open up penetration opportunities and she shows the court savvy to know when to do which. Lastly, her tenacity on defense is no surprise because she has the physical and mental toughness to be an on the ball lock down defender.

Playing college basketball has always been a goal and dream of mine. I will always play with the heart it takes to win, no matter the circumstances.
