Scouting Report

Andre Ward Jr. is a solid 2018 basketball prospect. An athletic 5'10" / 165 pound solid frame, Andre is a pure point guard. 8+ years playing at the AAU level and has played varsity level basketball since his 8th grade year; he is a 4 year starter. This past season he was selected First Team All Conference, averaging 16 points, 5 assists and 3 steals per game. Andre displays tremendous ball handling ability, see's the floor well and is a lockdown defender. Great floor general who makes great decisions and protects the basketball. Leads by example. He has the ability to get in the lane with ease based on his quickness and has a solid perimeter shot. Andre can finish in traffic with both hands and has developed a solid floater and mid range pull-up game. Andre can hit the outside shot and has worked hard over the years to increase his range and trains with a shooting coach weekly to perfect that part of his game. Defensively Andre has quick hands / feet and is a disruptive force for all opposing guards. A tremendous on ball defender. Andre is usually matched up on the opposing teams best guards from game to game as his coaches see and understand the importance of his defensive tenacity. Kid gets after it on the defensive side of the ball and is rarely out worked. He is a solid student at one of the states top college preparatory schools that offers a very vigorous academic workload. A kid with an excellent attitude, work ethic and drive; Andre Ward is a solid 2018 point guard prospect and would be an asset for many college basketball programs.
