Robbie Johnson Jr is an excellent prospect in the class of 2025. Talented Small forward / Guard that attends Salesianum High School in Wilmington, Delaware. Varsity starter as a freshmen, led his high school team in points and was second in rebounds. All Conference & All State Selection. Helped lead Salesianum to a state championship in basketball this past season 2022-23.
Plays AAU basketball for the top AAU program in the area WeR1 /UAA 16u (Newark, Delaware).
Dual Sport Athlete who has D1 level potential in both basketball and football. Multiple FBS & FCS D1 level football scholarship offers as a sophomore.
At age 16, Robbie displays a solid athletic frame at 6'5 / 220lbs. Crafty lefty, with a very high basketball IQ, great feel for the game. Extremely solid inside and outside player. Can spot up as well as play with his back to the basket. Good overall skill set, strong ball handler, consistent mid range and outside shot. See's the floor and passes really well. Tough to defend in the post and does a great job finishing in the lane. Athleticism consistently creates mismatch problems for his opponents.
Robbie plays with great pace and has an excellent motor. Rarely outworked. Excellent rebounder, physical and versatile defender---Can effectively defend positions 1-5. Plays hard every minute he's on the floor. Leads vocally and by example. His teammates and coaches respect him as a leader, player, and competitor.
Two sport athlete who showcases college level ability as a football prospect as well; Robbie is coachable, has a great work ethic, loves the game and is a fierce competitor. Academically he is an honor roll student, maintaining a 3.0 GPA.
With his continued growth and development Robbie definitely projects as a solid collegiate prospect. He has the ability, work ethic and competitiveness to be a solid player at the next level. Certainly a 2025 prospect to have on your recruiting radar.

Personal Message
Dear Prospective Coaches,
My name is Robbie Johnson Jr. and prefer to be called RJ. I'm a class of 2025 basketball prospect with the hope/ dream to play college basketball at the highest level. I attend Salesianum High School located in Wilmington, Delaware. I am a 6’5 guard/ forward who can comfortably play all 5 positions on the floor. I am an All State and All conference performer in both football and basketball. This past season (2022-23) I was blessed to help lead our basketball program to a state championship!
I’ve been around basketball my entire life. My dad put a ball in hands when I was probably 2 years old and I fell in love with the game every since. I have been told that I play with a “chip on my shoulder” and I agree with that comment. My dad was one of the best players in the state of Delaware in high school, four-year starter and several All-state/ All-conference selections. He continued his basketball success at the University of Delaware and led his teams to two NCAA appearances in the 90’s and finished 2nd all-time in 3 pointers made and percentage at UD. My chip is that I strive to be better than my dad and he wants me to better than him. Basketball is my life and my dad make sure that my workouts never stops and that I remain a student of the game and keep trying to improving my game.
My goal is to play college basketball and I understand to reach this goal, I have to be academically successful in the classroom, coachable, play with intensity and heart and make everyone around me a better player. I believe I have those characteristics to be a great asset to anyone’s basketball program.
I have a solid- strong frame and my athleticism causes a lot of mix-match issues for opponents. I am a really good 3-point shooter with range but also, I’m a great finisher around the basket and a violent shot-blocker. I have been blessed to be given this talent to share with my next level teammates/ program and hopefully make us better than before.
