Tyra Blakeney is an excellent class of 2022 track and field prospect. Great athlete who specializes in the high jump and long jump events. Long athletic frame, 5'8 / 156lbs, tremendous work ethic. Two sport athlete who also is an All State Volleyball player. Very high character kid that comes from an excellent and very supportive family.
Team Captain. Natural leader and extremely coachable. Amazing personality. Extremely self driven and goal orientated.
State Champion High Jump, 1st Team All State High Jump. Junior Olympic Qualifier (HJ, LJ).

Academically Tyra is a straight A / Distinguished Honor Roll student that maintains a 3.92 GPA. She currently has an 1110 SAT score. Tyra will not have a problem being accepted into a large majority of schools and her grades should bring her solid academic and merit scholarship opportunities.
Tyra Blakeney is a very solid class of 2022 prospect and would be a great asset for many collegiate track & field programs.

Prospective Coaches,
My name is Tyra Blakeney and I am a member of the class of 2022 St. Georges Technical High School, which is located in Middletown, Delaware. I am writing to you because of my interest in becoming a recruit and member of your 2022 Track and Field team. I am a captain of my varsity track team and participate in both AAU and USATF meets outside of St. Georges Technical High School as an unattached athlete. I primarily compete in field events (High Jump and Long Jump).
While I plan to major in Pre-Med (Biology) to fulfill my career goal of becoming a pediatrician, I am also interested in continuing my athletic career at the collegiate level. I have just begun to scratch the surface of my potential and I know I will improve with time as I have done in the past. I am determined to have growth and success in both my academic and athletic career. I have spent quite a bit of time on your school's website reviewing your academic programs and your current track and field athletes. I believe I would not only be a great fit for your team and contribute to its future success, but also as a student athlete attending your school.
