Scouting Report

Jack Argento is a very versatile 2022 Small Forward / Shooting Guard that attends Hershey High School in Harrisburg , Pennsylvania.

Argento has the perfect frame as a versatile forward. At 6’4”, 180-pounds, Argento can score from all three levels on the court (Attacking the basket, mid range pull up jump shots, and three point range). His natural and fluid shooting form combined with very fundamental footwork, makes him a very efficient scorer.

Jack possesses a high level of basketball IQ, something seen through his passing ability and defense. Jack sees the floor well on both sides of the ball. Offensively, when attacking off the the dribble he does a great job finding teammates who are open because of his penetration. Defensively, Jack is great at using his long/Athletic frame to keep ball handlers in front of him and also using that and his IQ to play passing lanes in help defense. Argento has a big upside, as he’s a very hard worker and very coachable kid.

Academically Jack is a high honor’s student and maintains a 4.0 GPA. He displays the necessary qualities and athletic ability to be a solid player at the collegiate level. He would be an asset for many college basketball programs.

Personal Message

Hello Coach,

My name is Jack Argento and I’m a 2022 guard. I am a 2 year starter for a Hershey High School (5A) varsity team.

I am a multi-dimensional player who can shoot the 3, finish at the rim, find the open man and play solid defense. I really pride myself on my defensive performance each and every game. I take it as a challenge every game to compete as hard as I can on the defensive end against my man.

I am instinctively a team player who has been told that I have the intangible things that are hard to teach. Becoming a better athlete is what wakes me up in the morning. I have become a much more explosive and agile athlete in the last few months. I’m working to take my game to the next level and am focusing, not only on the physical aspect, but the mental aspect of my game as well.

I am a high academic student and maintained a 4.0 throughout my junior year in high school while taking AP, honors, and accelerated classes.

Please consider me for your 2022
Recruitment class!
