Scouting Report

Tyron Abrams is a solid overall athlete that plays Defensive Back, Running Back and Receiver at Dover High School in Dover, Delaware. A 2023 prospect with potential on both sides of the ball. Very good athlete, great feet, and ball skills. Solid speed and quickness. Playmaker when the ball is in his hands. Displays very good burst and balance. Solid route runner in the pass game. Shifty and quickly gets north/south. Can line up at multiple positions and impact the game offensively.

Defensively Tyron is a very versatile and physical player with good speed and ball skills. Excellent tackler who has a knack for creating turnovers and always seems to be around the ball. He engages and fights through blocks well using hands and quickness, wraps and continues leg drive after initial contact. He is solid in coverage. Athletic; breaks on the ball very well.

Personal Message

My love for the game is why I want to play football at the next level. I started playing when I was 10 and immediately fell in love with it. I like how there’s always room for me to improve. I like to correct every flaw and test it against the best competition. Working hard is fun to me because I crave the feeling of getting better. I am determined to be the best version of myself and best i can be. If there’s something I learned from my experience at Dover High it is that “All Things are Possible “. I truly believe this phrase after all of the many blessings I’ve received in my life. So why not keep believing? Yes, I feel like this sport requires a lot of hard work and dedication but I’m willing to put forth that effort to football. I’m very motivated and determined to be the best teammate and football player I can possibly be. I see this as a lifestyle. As something bigger than just me.

I play to prove that no matter how bad you were when you first started, there is no limit to how much better you can get. There’s always something to get better. There’s always something to perfect. Football is special to me and forever will be. I don’t play just to keep me busy or just as a hobby. I play for the fun and to better myself as a person all around. I love learning things about the sport that I never knew before. Falling in love with it all over again every day I wake up and every night I go to bed. I just want the opportunity to be able to accomplish a life-long dream. I want to continue to be a part of a brotherhood and a team. This is why I want to play football at the next level and I would greatly appreciate any consideration for your 2023 recruiting class.

Sincerely,

Tyron Abrams
