Steven Roland-Washington is a 2022 defensive line / linebacker prospect that attends William Penn Senior High School in York, Pennsylvania. 6'0 / 220 pounds. Displays good feet, athleticism and strength. 295lb bench, 225lb clean, 395lb squat. Loves the weight room. Versatile athlete who has played linebacker, defensive tackle and defensive end. Great attitude, very coachable and a team guy. High character kid with great work ethic.
Steven was a key contributor to a solid defensive unit this past year earning honorable mention All-Conference recognition at defensive tackle. Plays with good pad level, is physical, has a good motor and a nose for the ball. Makes many plays at or behind the line of scrimmage. Good quickness off the ball and is a solid tackler. Uses his hands well.
Academically Steven is a high honor roll student and maintains a 3.63 GPA. He possesses the character, work ethic and competitiveness that all coaches love to see and projects as a solid 2022 football prospect. He would be an asset for many college football programs.

Personal Message
My name is Steven Roland-Washington and I am a prospective collegiate football player from the class of 2022 that attends William Penn Senior High School in York, Pennsylvania. Aggressive, athletic, coachable, driven, scholar, and a passionate leader are five attributes that describe who I am. However, my work ethic, grit, competitive nature, and accountability to my teammates, are characteristics that speak to my skill set on the football field.
I started playing football when I was five years old. At first it was a tool to help me channel my energy, as I got older my football knowledge increased each year and my love for the sport fueled my desire to study film, the best players, and focus on implementing my strategic plan to play college football. I have played in competitions in PA, MD, VA, DC, and Ohio. I have attended camps throughout the country because I wanted to learn how to evolve and get better. When I am not completing school work, I spend a lot of time working out. I like setting goals and smashing my goals. I enjoy playing defense because I like to hit and I get excited when I smack the snot out of the opponent; however, I will play whatever position you want me to play to contribute to the team’s victories.
I believe I deserve a shot to play in college because I love the game, have great work ethic and know what it takes to be a team leader and a good teammate. My stats and highlight tapes demonstrate I am ready to take my skill set to the next level. Any consideration for your 2022 recruiting class would be greatly appreciated!
