Dominic Sama is an outstanding 2022 linebacker prospect that attends Salesianum High School in Wilmington, Delaware. An excellent athlete with good size at 6'1"/ 215lbs. Two sport star who also is a state qualifying wrestler. Displays a very solid, muscular frame; very well put together. One of the top linebacker prospects in the state of Delaware. Physical player with good speed and ball skills. Excellent tackler who has a knack for creating turnovers and always seems to be around the ball. Very high football I.Q., reads the field well and is a leader on and off the field.
Fierce competitor, great instincts, can play sideline to sideline, solid open field tackler. Loves contact. Uses his hands and body well to shed blocks and makes many plays at or behind the line of scrimmage. Big time hitter who is physically intimidating to opponents.
Leads vocally and by example. Displays a great attitude, work ethic and is extremely coachable. Very High character kid. Academically carries a 3.0 GPA and is an Honor Roll Student.
Dominic has all of the intangibles that you want to see in a collegiate level prospect and would be a definite asset for many college football programs.

Personal Message
“Keep reaching for those stars!” are the words my Mom has always said to me and my brothers as we have been growing up. For me, those stars I have been reaching for have always been to play football at the collegiate level.
My name is Dominic Sama, I am a class of 2022 Linebacker at Salesianum High School in Wilmington, Delaware. Since I was a little boy, I have been obsessed with football. Whether it was wearing my favorite jerseys everywhere I went, using my special ordered gloves, or organizing a neighborhood football game with my friends, football has been a part of my life. After two full years of begging, I finally wore down my parents and convinced them to let me play tackle football in the 6th grade. It was the first of many of my football dreams come true! My 7th and 8th grade years of football were some of my best memories, winning the Delaware Catholic Ministries league championship both years, Captain in 8th grade, and a personal winning touchdown record.
That brings me to high school, where I am living one of my other dreams to play Varsity football, and where I strive to be the best, I can be both academically and athletically every day. Football has taught me many lessons, has helped me overcome many challenges and has also shaped me into who I am today – prepared, hard-working, determined, and a true leader both on and off the field. The one greatest lesson I have learned is resiliency and will use this to help me be successful and overcome any obstacle whether I am in that football uniform or not.
Today, I continue to reach for the stars with the end goal of playing college football. I am confident that if given the opportunity that I will be an asset to your football program. Success for me is measured by exceeding both the goals of the coaches and of the team. I have not let anyone or any team down yet, and do not plan to start now.
