Personal Message

My name is Marquis Gillis and I am a 6’0 and 195 lbs RB/DB for Milford High School class of 2021. I appreciate the time you’ve taken out to get to know me and analyze my 2020 film. I have a 3.0 GPA and take being a student athlete extremely serious. I would love to be considered for your 2021 recruiting class.

It’s always been a dream of mine to play at a college level. Also I always wanted to pursue to get a degree in some sort of health profession in college while playing football. I am a naturally vocal leader and text leadership on and off the field. I like to also view myself as a team player who knows that teamwork and working as one can get the job done efficiently. I possess a work ethic that helps reach my own personal goals and my team’s goal as well.

I am aware of what it takes to play at the college level. Nobody is entitled to anything. Everything is well earned. Every minute on the field, every play played, and every position filled. I will work hard for every opportunity that is brought to me. Whether it’s on the field, my education, or my everyday life.

One principle that I like to stand on is that you respect others and others will respect you. For me that is one of the more important traits to acquire in life. As a football player you learn that football builds a lot of character. Respect and responsibility being two of the biggest ones. I would love to express my abilities as a football player and grow as an individual person. Given the opportunity I will prove that my effort and skill will be a tremendous gain for your program. I look forward to having a successful recruiting process.

Sincerely,

Marquis Gillis
