Camryn Felix is a very talented class of 2022 basketball prospect that attends Gettysburg Area High School in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Camryn is the true definition of a combo guard. She can flat out shoot the ball! Camryn has a very quick release and shoots with high efficiency off the catch , off the dribble, from mid range ,or from 3 point range! She knows how to use change of pace to get open off of screens and also how to read her defenders help and get open off of penetration by her teammates. What really makes her a joy to coach is her IQ. Camryn can move over and play the point guard position because she has a knack for pushing the tempo while under control and finding her teammates for great scoring opportunities. She is a very good ball handler, has very good foot work and she sees the floor very well.
Camry is absolutely a two way player also. Camryn works very hard in to be in top shape at all times. She knows her way around the weight room and you can tell by her solid frame. She has also played soccer all her life and that also shows with her speed, quickness and conditioning. Those two things, combined with her basketball IQ make her a very disruptive defensive player. She can pick up ball handlers full court and turn them. She’s knows when to help off and when to shoot passing lanes for steals. She is a leader vocally and by example. Excellent work ethic; solid student with a 3.7 GPA.
Camryn has all the characteristics coaches would want to see in a young prospect and with continued growth and development she projects as a solid class of 2022 collegiate prospect. She is certainly an athlete that you want to keep an eye on in the 2022 class.

Personal Message
Dear Coach,
From a young age I have loved the game of basketball. Some players like basketball, I love it. College basketball has been a goal for me, and getting an education because of all of the time and work I have devoted to basketball is the ultimate goal. I come from a middle class family, with very little beyond what my parents do and provide for me and my brother. I continue to pursue getting part or all of my education paid for. Beyond writing that now, that never enters my mind. My focus is always individual improvement and doing what is needed to help my team win. Recently I lost focus on what was important and started dwelling to much on my future plans and not living in the present. I like a tweet that was sent out by a coach, "all we know is this moment, be where your feet are." I pride myself on doing what it takes for my team to succeed whether it be handle it more, pressure more, shoot it more, or create more. What does it take for my team to win NOW. One thing I can say is every team I have been on is better with me on the floor. My IQ of situations is so high because my mother was a Division 1 player and I have grown up understanding the game.
I have played with and against the best players in the country. I have a former teammate with an offer from UConn, teammates invited to the olympic trials, and teammates that have succeeded at all levels. I hope when my time in basketball is over that every one of my teammates can say they enjoyed playing the game with me and that they never doubted that I was committed to the goal of any team and that is winning.
Any school that provides me with the opportunity is getting a player and person that will take their responsibilities very seriously. I am committed to my education, I am committed to bringing championship level success, and I am committed to the process of what it takes to get there.
