Koby Mbonu is a very talented class of 2021 soccer prospect that attends The Marvelwood School in Kent, Connecticut. 5+ years competitive soccer experience, currently plays club soccer for FC Harlem Lions (NY) and has played HS Varsity soccer since his freshman year. Selected ALL League in 2019 & 2020; also named team MVP for Marvelwood in 2019-20 season. High Honor Roll student, maintains a 3.57 GPA.

Koby showcases great technical ability, good speed and soccer IQ. Great size at 6'3 / 190lbs. Athletic, strong build. Has quality first touch and dribbles the ball well with both feet. Very calm on the ball. Quickness allows him to beat defenders. Excellent passer. Displays great pace with excellent field vision. Plays with great confidence. Fearless on the pitch and plays very physical. Understands how to use body positioning and has great footwork. Very competitive and leads vocally and by example. Excellent work ethic.

Koby is a high character kid; very coachable and has a passion for the sport. He has all the tools necessary to be successful at the collegiate level; Koby Mbonu would be an asset for many collegiate soccer programs.
