Scouting Report

Class of 2022 Power forward, Lauren Trumpy stands 6 feet and 3 inches tall , with a very long and athletic build. Lauren has been a starter and major part of the success of Trinity Hs (Pa.) basketball since her freshman year, being named to the Mid Penn All Conference Team in 2019 & 2020. Lauren is set to have a huge junior season for Trinity HS.

Offensive Review:
Trumpy is a walking double double. She finished her sophomore season averaging approximately 11 points and 11 rebounds a game while shooting at a very efficient percentage.

If you looking for a textbook player in the paint, Trumpy is the player to watch. She’s as good as they come playing with her back to the basket offensively. She has a wide arsenal of moves on the blocks. Lauren has great footwork and can turn over Esther shoulder and finish with either hand. What’s impressive is what she can do facing the basket. Lauren has a great midrange jumper from the baseline or the elbow. She can also be that trailing big that stops and hits from 3 point range. She moves well with and without the ball and also sees the floor. She has a great feel for the game!

Defensive Review:
Trumpy’s long frame and high IQ make her a serious defensive presence. What she won’t block, she will alter, and she quickly finds her guards to turn defense into offense. Great rebounder, physical.

Academically, Lauren has been an honor roll student every High school marking period and carries a 3.6 GPA. She would be an asset for many college basketball programs.
