Scouting Report

Naia Pulliam is an extremely talented class of 2021 Guard/Small Forward prospect that attends St. Elizabeth's High School, Wilmington, Delaware. A tremendous athlete with great size, skill and natural athleticism. 3 Year varsity starter, 1st Team All Conference, ranked Top 20 in the state of Delaware and received ALL State recognition as a Junior.

Naia plays AAU basketball for one of the areas top programs - Alyssa Thomas Elite (Delaware). Offensively Naia does everything well! Very explosive first step, great footwork and body control. Tremendous on her shot and can finish going right or left. Naia has great court vision and is an excellent passer. She can score the ball at all three levels, can face up and has good offensive ability with her back to the basket. Finishes well in traffic. She has a nice mid-range shot, can stretch the floor and hit the three ball as well. Very solid ball handler-- athletic frame with long arms and wingspan. Because of her size, tenacity and athleticism Naia rebounds well and plays great on ball and help defense. She has the quickness and basketball I.Q. to play passing lanes and create steals. Length allows her to block or disrupt shots defensively. As a junior she averaged 11 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists per contest.

High character kid, excellent work ethic. Very encouraging to her teammates. Leads vocally and by example. Academically Naia is solid in the classroom and maintains a 3.3 GPA.

Naia has all the characteristics coaches would want to see in a potential recruit and projects as a solid class of 2021 collegiate prospect. She is certainly an athlete to take a hard look at in the 2021 class.

Personal Message

Prospective Coaches,

My name is Naia Pulliam and I'm a class of 2021 basketball prospect that attends St. Elizabeth High School in Wilmington, Delaware. My goal is to play at the collegiate level.

One of the main reasons why I play basketball is because I grew up around it. As a child, I admired my older sister as a player. I always attended her basketball games and would also go to the courts with her all the time. My father also played in high school, so they both have taught me a lot about the game. As I've gotten older, my work ethic has grown a lot and my desire to get better everyday has as well. Basketball became the sport I love. I deserve a shot to play at the collegiate level because of the growing potential I have to be great and the hard work I continue to put in daily.

Playing professionally is something I would love to have the opportunity to do. It will be my way of giving back to my parents for all the sacrifices they made for me to be able to play. But in order to do that, I have to play in college and I would love to experience college basketball as a player.

I am ambitious and focused to overcome any obstacle in my path of playing college basketball. Any consideration for your class of 2021 class will be greatly appreciated! Thank you for viewing my profile and I look forward to keeping in touch! Feel free to contact me anytime with any further questions!

Regards,

Naia Pulliam
