Kennedy O’Brien is a 5’9” Combo Guard in the class of 2022. Kennedy now attends Bishop Mcdevitt High School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Kennedy’s first two years of high school were spent at Red Land High School in Lewisberry, Pennsylvania. Kennedy’s wide array of skills were on full display during her first two seasons at Red Land HS. Kennedy was a varsity starter during her freshman and sophomore seasons. An excellent athlete with good length and athleticism. Her athleticism and quickness are what also made her a top performer in High School soccer as well during her first two seasons. She has a very solid overall game and is a stat sheet filler. Does everything well and has a passion for the game. Kennedy plays a great uptempo game, making great decisions and finishing extremely well. High basketball IQ, efficient scorer, solid defender and an excellent passer. Solid ball handler, drives and finishes with either hand, and uses the dribble very well to create space and get a shot off from mid point range or three point range. Looks to get her teammates involved and leads vocally and by example. Defensively she's aggressive, rebounds and defends well. Creates a lot of turnovers via deflections and steals. She has an excellent work ethic, great attitude and is very coachable. Kennedy definitely has collegiate level ability and would be an asset for many college basketball programs.
