Janeira Scott is an extremely talented 2021 point guard prospect that attends Woodbridge High School in Greenwood, Delaware. Explosive athlete with tremendous overall skill. Impressive ball handler, vocal leader, scorer and effective distributor. Very high basketball IQ. She has all the tools you look for in a point guard. Can effect the game in a variety of ways. At 5'3 / 125lbs; skill, speed and athleticism are her biggest assets. Quickness allows her to get anywhere she wants on the floor, finishes well in the lane. Dribble drive, pull ups, floaters, and a consistent mid range and outside shot. Great vision, sees the floor well and is an excellent passer. Plays with confidence. Has started at Woodbridge since her freshman season; All State and All Conference performer. In 2018-19 led her team to its first ever undefeated regular season going 20-0 in which she averaged 15 points, 7 assists, 6 steals and 5 rebounds per game. Led team to the state quarterfinals.
Janiera has an excellent work ethic and trains all year round. Plays AAU for the First State Lady Warriors (Delaware) organization. Has been playing basketball since she could walk and is 100% committed to the sport. In short, she is a gym rat that loves to compete. Works just as hard in the classroom as she does on the court, maintaining a 3.5 GPA while consistently being an honor roll student. An excellent role model and leader on & off the court. She has the work ethic, drive, character and skill set to be an upper level collegiate basketball player. Certainly a Class of 2021 Point Guard to add to your recruiting boards! She would be an asset for many college basketball programs.

Dear Prospective College Coaches,
My name is Janeira Scott and I am a member of the class of 2021 at Woodbridge High School in Greenwood, DE. I am a point guard on the Varsity basketball team, as well as on the First State Lady Warriors AAU team. I have been a varsity starter since I was a freshman. I average 15 points, 7 assists, 6 steals and 5 rebounds per game. I am excited at the prospect of taking my skills, passion for the game, and competitive drive to a reputable college or university, where I can also acquire an excellent education.
I have proven myself successful both on and off the court. I am an honor roll student each marking period and have a 3.5 GPA. I have also been recognized with the Woodbridge High School “Changemaker” award, which is a monthly recognition for a student who has made a positive impact of his/her school. I am able to balance academics, athletics, and making a positive impact on my community.
