Jalen Hill is definitely one to watch out for in the class of 2020! An athletic defensive back that attends Dover High School in Dover Delaware. 5’10" /180lb, solid frame. Jalen is a very versatile and physical player with good speed and ball skills. Has played both Cornerback and Free Safety over the course of his career. Solid special team player as well. Solid in coverage, showcases a smooth peddle, fluid hips and gets in and out of his break well. Good technique in man to man coverage. Solid closing speed and runs the alley well. Jalen also does a great job engaging and separating from blocks. He is a fierce competitor with great instincts and plays sideline to sideline. Good open field tackler who doesn't shy away from contact.
Vocal leader but most of all he leads by example on and off the field. Team Captain as a junior. Jalen’s commitment to football, strong moral values and work ethic are what coaches are looking for in their program. He would be an asset for many college football programs. Jalen carries a 3.1 GPA and is an high honor roll student. Jalen definitely projects as solid defensive back prospect.

Personal Message
My name is Jalen Hill, and I’m a class of 2020 Defensive back Prospect. I am a 3-year Varsity Starter for Dover High School and play both CB and FS. I also am versatile enough to play in the box and on the offensive side of the ball at WR. I am a player who has always taken pride in playing defense. I like to be physical and have always had the mindset that defense wins championships. I have a strong and high IQ at my position. I also am a special team’s specialist and have played on every team. I am one of the leaders and Captains of my team and well respected and credible. I am an Honor roll student as I take both Honors and AP classes and maintain a 3.1 GPA. I am a well-respected leader and very passionate about this game.
This past year I’ve helped lead my team to a 9-2 run into the post season before suffering a loss in the semi-final game. I am looking to end my high school career with a championship. I take this game very seriously and I’m looking forward to the opportunity to showcase my abilities at the next level. Any consideration would be greatly appreciated.
