CJ Henry is an excellant class of 2021 Quarterback prospect that attends Hodgson Vo-Technical HS in Newark, Delaware. 5'10 / 180 lbs. Athletic, Dual threat Quarterback with a very live Arm. 1040 SAT. Great pocket presence, high football IQ, excellent foot work. Can make all the throws. CJ climbs the pocket very well and has great anticipation. Athleticism gives him the ability to extend many plays; dual threat that can hurt you with his arm or legs. Displays great mechanics and arm speed. Solid 3 and 5-step drop. Throws from a solid base and is tecnically sound. Transfers weight very well. Very comfortable from the gun or under center. HS runs a 4/5 wide spread system.
CJ has been a winner at every stage of his career; winning an FBU national championship as the starting quarterback for Team Maryland in 8th grade(2016) and then at the high school level earning the starting QB role as a freshman at Hodgson HS(2017). Leading the program to two consecutive state semi finals appearances and as a sophomore(2018) leading the state in passing yards and passing TD's (2,236 Yards passing, 28 Pass td's). All State and All Conferece QB Seletion in 2018. In 2019 was named Gatorade Player of the Year, Delaware's Offensive Player of the year, while leading Hodgson to a state championship and undefeated season. Compliled 2,715 yards, 37 touchdowns and only 1 interception. Kid has the "it" factor and is a true competitor.
CJ Leads vocally and by example. He is well respected and liked by his coaches, teammates and teachers. Very high character kid. Great family support system at home. Excellent work ethic, trains year round(QB training & weight training). 3 Sport Athlete -Football, Basketball, Lacrosse.
Academically CJ maintains a 3.7 GPA and is an Honor Roll student. Member of the National Honor Society. CJ Henry has definite collegiate ability and is a solid 2021 QB prospect. He would be an asset for many college football programs.

Dear Prospective Coach:
My name is Curt T. Henry, Jr. and I am a class of 2021 Quarterback that attends Hodgson Technical High School in Newark DE. Although I have varsity letters in basketball and lacrosse, football has been my passion since the age of 5. My dream is to play at the collegiate level. I just completed my junior season and had an amazing year. Helped lead my team to an undefeated season(12-0), won the state title, was named the Player of the game of the championship game and was named the Delaware Offensive Player of the Year! I finished the year with 2351 passing yards, 31 passing touchdowns and only 1 interception. I also rushed for another 365 yards & 6 touchdowns. I was also named First Team All State. This was a season I will never forget!
My current GPA is 3.72 and I am a member of the National Honor Society. I would like to put myself on your recruiting radar and be considered as the next leader of your football program.
My goal is to play college football and I know that I will make a good addition to the right School's football program and overall community. Outside of my ability to lead, strong faith and desire to win, one of my greatest attributes is my ability to stay calm and poised in the face of adversity. I love the grind and work hard to better myself on and off the field. Football has allowed me to create a strong brotherhood with my teammates through the years and I look forward to the relationships that will be made in college.
