Jeron "LJ' "Phillips Jr is definitely one to watch out for in the class of 2021! A very a talented Dual Threat Quarterback; LJ attends Lansdale Catholic High School in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. Great size at 6'2 / 180 pounds. Long athletic frame. Sound mechanics and footwork, has a high football IQ. LJ is a vocal leader but most of all he leads by example on and off the field. Very high charcater kid. His commitment to football and his strong moral values are what coaches are looking for in their program. Phillips has the physical tools and skill set to be a solid collegiate level quarterback prospect.
A 3 yr varsity starter and All Conference performer. Phillips Jr spent his freshman and sophomore years at The Tatnall School in Wilmington, Delaware before transferring to Lansdale Catholic for his junior year. Good arm strength, and a very quick release. Showcases solid mechanics, footwork and moves around well in the pocket. It shows that he has been getting quality QB training and instruction. Big play ability as a dual threat and works very comfortably from under center or in shotgun sets. Throws from a solid base, showcases active feet in the pocket and anticipates very well. Accurate in quick game and throws a good long ball. He has the speed, athleticism and running ability to extend plays and scramble for big gains. LJ has the physical tools and skill set to be a solid collegiate level quarterback prospect.
A hard worker, with high character and a very solid student with a 3.8 GPA while taking honors courses. He will take his SAT & ACT this winter and scored an 1170(PSAT) / 28 (P-ACT).
Phillips Jr projects as the type of an athlete that many programs are looking for to run today's wide open RPO /spread offenses. He would be an asset for many college football programs.

My name is Jeron "LJ" Phillips Jr and I'm a class of 2021 quarterback that attends Lansdale Catholic High School in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. Thank you for taking the time to review my athletic profile, game film and accomplishments! My dream is to continue playing the sport I love at the collegiate level and I am working my tail off both academically and athletically to make that dream a reality.
I believe that I have worked hard enough and have the necessary size, skill and IQ to play at the collegiate level. Even though I am proud of my on field performance, I value my character and work ethic off the field the most. I provide positive leadership, sportsmanship, friendship and integrity to any team. I perform well under pressure and I have proven to be able to lead a team. All I need is for one college staff to believe in me and provide me the opportunity to lead their program. It will be a decision they will never regret!
