Ja’Shaun Johnson is an extremely talented class of 2020 basketball prospect that attends Sussex Tech High School in Georgetown, Delaware. Combo Guard with nice size at 6'2 / 190lbs. Has the ability to create scoring opportunities for himself by penetrating or creating space to get a shot off. Good body control, finishes well in the lane. Solid ball handler, consistent mid range jump shot. Knows how to get to his spots on the floor, slasher. Excellent rebounder. Because of his high basketball IQ, tenacity and toughness, he is a great on the ball defender and anticipates in the passing lanes extremely well. Ja’Shaun is also a leader vocally and by example and has an excellent work ethic.
Ja’Shaun finished his junior season averaging 12.5 points per game, 5.2 assist per game, and 8.5 rebound per game. He led Sussex Tech to the second round of the basketball playoffs. Ja’Shaun received All Conference recognition. Has never been given anything, always earned and has worked hard to become the player, student and young man he is today. Very high character kid. Honor roll student that maintains a 3.0 GPA. Ja’Shaun would be an asset and great addition for many college basketball programs.

My name is Ja’Shaun Johnson and I'm a 6'2 Combo Guard that attends at Sussex Technical High school in Georgetown, Delaware. I will graduate in the 2020 class and am interested in continuing my basketball career at the college level. I am currently playing the point guard & Shooting guard position with my AAU team. I am a very versatile & selfless player, I always find a way to get my teammates involved & put them in the best position to lead us to a win. Last season I averaged 12.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game as a junior. I was named to the All-Conference Team.
I have a passion for the sport, and have a great work ethic. I am also very coachable and a team player. Academically I am an honor roll student.
