Arianna Smith is an excellent track & field athlete that attends Pennsville Memorial HS in Pennsville, NJ. Physically gifted, self driven, with an excellent work ethic that carries over into all aspects of her life. Specializes in the hurdles and 200m/400m sprint events. Also long jumps. Great form and technique. Very relaxed, good lower body strength and explosive. Extremely Confident. NJ state champion in 100mh and 400mh. State Runner up in the 200m and 400m. Junior Olympic finalist, AAU All American. Current PR's of 14.63(100mh), 1:02.76 (400mh), 56.71 (400m), 25.34 (200m), and a long jump of 17'6. She also ran an official split of 55.91 at Penn Relays this past year in the 4X400m relay. Very versatile and well rounded athlete that also plays soccer and basketball. Extremely competitive and very coachable. Wants to learn. Hasn't scratched the surface of her potential and has only been competing for 4 years. Hasn't ran indoor track at all due to her being a very good 1st Team All County & Club level soccer player. Has never been exposed to strength training(lifting), therefore has even more explosive potential as she physically matures and develops in that area.
Academically she is outstanding with a 4.2 GPA and a perfect transcript. Has never received anything less than an "A" in any high school course. Has an 1190 SAT score and will be taking the test at least two more times this winter and spring with the goal of scoring in the 1200's. Great personality, hard worker, very driven and extremely intelligent. Arianna is an excellent 2019 prospect and would be an asset for many college track & field programs.

Personal Message
My name is Arianna Smith and I'm a class of 2019 track and field athlete that attends Pennsville Memorial HS in Pennsville, New Jersey. I have a passion for athletics and my dream is to compete at the collegiate level and beyond. I specialize in the hurdles, long jump, 200m and 400m sprint events. I am the state champion in New Jersey for the 100m & 400m hurdles, an AAU All American and a Junior Olympic finalist. My current personal records to date are: 14.64 (100mh), 1:02.76 (400mh), 56.71 (400m), 25.34 (200m) and 17'6 (long jump). I also ran a 55.91 offical split time at last years Penn Relays in the 4x400m relay. This upcoming season I am confident that I will set new PR's in all of these events. Academically I am a distinguished honor roll student with a 4.2 GPA, 1190 SAT. My transcript will show my dedication to academics as I have never received anything less than an "A" in any of my classes throughout my high school career. My passion for competition has always been the most prominent factor in my desire to participate in athletics. No matter the sport, no matter the level of play, I always strove to push myself to my greatest abilities in my aspiring attempts to become . I believe the countless sacrifices I have made as a both a student-athlete and club athlete is deserving of an opportunity to compete at the collegiate level. All of the awards I have received were merely the products of hard work and dedication. Even so, I hold myself to a higher level that even with aforementioned awards I still have not reached my full potential.
