Amber Washington is a solid 2019 Point Guard prospect that attends St. Georges Vo Tech in Middletown, Delaware. Great overall skill set. True point guard, gets teammates involved, very high IQ. Great speed, athleticism and quickness. See's the floor well and is an excellent ball handler. Great in transition, can score the ball in a variety of ways. Solid jump shot and mid range game. Penetrates and finishes in the lane with either hand. Very unselfish and extremely coachable. Solid on ball and off ball defender, averaged 4 steals per game. Active hands and quickness allow her to anticipate well, get in passing lanes and create turnovers. Leads vocally and by example. 6+ years competing at the AAU level. 4 year varsity starter. All Conference performer. Team Captain. Maintains a 3.7 GPA.

Personal Message
My name is Amber Washington and I'm a class of 2019 point guard that attends St. George's Technical HS in Middletown, Delaware. I have dreams of playing basketball at the collegiate level and want to thank you for taking the time to review my athletic profile and included game footage links. I am a true point guard, who is a leader, facilitator, scorer and solid defender. I love the game of basketball and am doing everything in my power to turn my dreams into reality.
I am a 4 year varsity starter, team captain and First team All conference performer. I also have played AAU basketball against tough competition for many years. Last season as a junior, I averaged 16 points, 8 assists, 5 rebounds and 4 steals per game and helped lead my team to its first ever 2nd round playoff appearance and all time best record of 17-3. It was a great year and I have been working extremely hard to make my senior year just as if not more memorable!
Academically I am an honor roll student and maintain a 3.7 GPA. I take my academics just as serious as my athletics. Any consideration for your 2019 recruiting class would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to contact me anytime!
