Jazzmin Haman is a 2020 CF/1B from Glasgow High School in Newark, Delaware. She plays travel ball for the Midway Orange Crush 18U Travel Ball organization(Wilmington, Delaware). Jazzmin is an outstanding athlete with great size at 5'8" and 140 lbs. Long, athletic frame, decent speed. Versatile and can play any position in the outfield as well as first base. She hits and throws right handed. Jazzmin has been clocked at 2.8 sec from home to 1B from the right side. Solid defensive player, tracks the ball well and has above average arm strength. She anticipates well getting great jumps and taking great routes. She is very aggressive going after anything she can get.
Jazzmin has excellent extra base power to all fields. Patient in the box, great contact hitter. Led her HS team in 2bs, 3Bs, and RBI's. Led her travel club team in hits. As she adds strength I see her being a potential double digit HR threat. Lots of line drives off the fence right now. Great work ethic, coachable and a great competitor. Leads vocally and by example.
Jazzmin is a solid student with a 3.0 GPA. She has a very supportive and athletic family. Dad is a high school head baseball coach and baseball/softball trainer who was recruited to play D1 football and D1 baseball; played baseball at Coastal Carolina and later professionally. Jazzmin would be an asset for many college softball programs.

Prospective Coaches:
My name is Jazzmin Haman and I'm a class of 2020 outfielder that attends Glasgow High School in Newark, Delaware. I play travel ball for the Midway Orange Crush (18U - Wilmington, DE) and have collegiate aspirations. Playing at the next level has always been a goal and I would like to be considered for your 2020 recruiting class!
I am a multi sport athlete with great size, and athleticism. I play primarily centerfield but can play any outfield position and my secondary position is 1st base. I have a strong arm, and am very solid at the plate leading my club and high school team in hits and extra base hits. I bat in the 4 hole for both my travel and high school teams.
As a freshman at Glasgow I broke the schools all time doubles record for a single season and this past season as a sophomore I led the team in doubles, triples and RBI's. I have a deep passion for the sport of softball and work year round to become the best player I can be. I am a hard worker, very coachable and a great competitor.
Academically I carry a 3.0 GPA and am striving to push my GPA up as high as possible. Playing in college would be a dream come true so any consideration would be greatly appreciated!
