Scouting Report
Jordan Magee is definitely one to watch out for in the class of 2019! He is a solid defensive back / quarterback that attends Dover High School in Dover Delaware. Jordan is very athletic and showcases an impressive 6'3" /208lb solid frame. A pure athlete who is a great talent on both sides of the ball. As a QB Jordan has a strong arm, can make all the throws and a very high football IQ. He has good mechanics and excellent feet. Excels under center and in spread sets. Dual threat with zone read packages and when plays break down has the ability to get outside the pocket and make plays with his legs. Throws from a good base. Accurate on rythym throws and excellent touch on his long ball. Great leader.
Defensively Jordan is a very versatile and physical player with good speed and ball skills. Excellent tackler who has a knack for creating turnovers and always seems to be around the ball has a nose for the ball. Jordan has good closing speed and runs the alley well. Defensively he is solid in coverage, showcases a smooth peddle, fluid hips and gets in and out of his break really well. Jordan engages and separates from blocks extremely well. He is a fierce competitor with great instincts and play sideline to sideline with solid open field tackler. He loves contact.
Jordan is a vocal leader but most of all he leads by example on and off the field. Jordan’s commitment to football and his strong moral values are what coaches are looking for in their program. He would be an asset for many college football programs. Jordan carries a 3.8 GPA and is a high honor roll student. Jordan definitely projects as solid collegiate defensive back prospect.

Coach's Evaluation
Jordan is a football player; he is physical and versatile. He can play many roles. Defensively he can rush the passer, he has good leverage, uses his hands well, and can cover passes. He is always around the football and shows good range (as a Safety or OLB). He block destructs extremely well and he is a very good tackler. Offensively Jordan can play QB in a spread system; he is a physical runner and displays a good deep ball. He can read coverage well and makes good decisions on his route progressions. Jordan can also play TE (traditional or in the slot); his 6’3’’ frame makes him a nice target as a possession receiver and his physical nature enables him to block well.
