Jelani Bryant is a solid 2019 quarterback prospect that attends Saint Mark's High school in Wilmington, Delaware. Jelani has a 3.86 GPA and takes all honors courses at a very challenging high academic private school.
Showcases a solid 5'11" /175 lb frame; strong arm and can make all the throws necessary to be successful at the next level. A good athlete with decent speed, great feet and pocket presence; Jelani anticipates well and sees the field. Ability to extend plays and is a dual threat. He has excellent work ethic, study habits and a solid understanding of breaking down defenses and recognizing coverage. A true student of the game. Fierce competitor that leads vocally and by example.
Jelani is comfortable in spread sets and pistol formations as well as under center. He has a great 3 step and 5 step drop from the gun or under center. Solid base, transfers weight very well. He is technically sound, and throws well from the pocket or on the move. Jelani has great leadership qualities and is well respected by his coaches, teammates and classmates. A high character kid with excellent work ethic and a passion to always improve; Jelani Bryant carries a 3.86 GPA and would be an asset for many college football programs.
