Scouting Report
Sivon Diconcilio is an extremely talented class of 2019 basketball prospect that attends Ellenville High School in Ellenville, NY. A very energetic and passionate player, Sivon plays with chip on his shoulder. An edge that is only outweighed by his determination to prove he can compete with anyone. Sivon handles the ball very well. He does an excellent job surveying the court at all times, and directing his teammates to be in the right positions. He possesses great quickness and speed, which makes him tough to guard and a pesky defender on the other end of the floor. Kid is extremely fast but has an uncanning ability to be under control while playing 3 steps faster than his competition. He uses the speed to probe and breakdown defenses. He is an extremely confident and aggressive player with an ability to finish drives in the lane. He finishes right or left hand in traffic and against taller defenders.
Sivon realizes his ability to score but he also realizes the importance of making the most efficient play and getting the ball to teammates in places where they will succeed. His ability to score in bunches under the rim, from mid range or the 3 point line combined with his point guard mentality and great basketball iq make him a solid overall player.
While he can improve his off the ball defense, his energy and ability to anticipate gets him by. Sivon is also a vocal leader on and off the court, and prides himself on leading by example. He has an excellent work ethic, and is a great student athlete, representing his team as an honors student.
Sivon projects as a solid class of 2019 point guard prospect and would be an asset to many college basketball programs.

Personal Message
Dear Prospective Coaches,
My name is Sivon Diconcilio and I am a class of 2019 Point Guard/Shooting Guard at Ellenville High School, in Ellenville, NY. While statistically my numbers do not immediately catch your eye, I have worked extremely hard to put myself in a position that the majority of young student athletes in the small town of Ellenville have not been successful at. And that is to play basketball at the next level, while also receiving a quality education.
My mother is a single-mother, and I would love nothing more than to lessen her burden of trying to struggle financially putting me through college. My mental toughness and burning desire to achieve my goals make up for what on the surface looks like a small frame. Although I am not the biggest player on the court, I truly believe that I have game-changing ability. As a point guard, controlling game pace, in my opinion, is extremely important. I try to always remain positive, because I consider myself to be a leader and a positive attitude from you leader helps keep your team positive as well. I also believe in accountability, and will always hold myself accountable for the outcome of the game. I take my role as a point guard extremely serious. I believe that it is the most important role, on and off of the court.
That said, I am looking for at least one coach who is willing to take a deeper dive into me, personally, my abilities, and WHY.
