Personal Message

Hello Coach,
My name is Ethan Miller and I'm a class of 2019 two way lineman that attends Middletown Area High School in Middletown, Pennsylvania. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and evaluate my 2017 game film. I currently have a 3.6 GPA and would love to be considered for your 2019 recruiting class!

I don't deserve to play at the college level, no one really deserves anything. You have to earn it, and I intend on earning that right to say I played at the collegiate level by working hard every single day of my life. I will work to better my teammates, my coaches, myself and everyone around me. I will do this by excelling at everything I do, whether that be in the weight room, in the classroom, or on the streets as an every day citizen.

One of my favorite quotes by Ray Lewis is when he says "Wins and losses come a dime a dozen. But effort? Nobody can judge effort. Effort is between you and you. Effort ain’t got nothing to do with nobody else. So that team that think they ready to seen you? They think what they seen on film. They ain’t saw what film shows. Because every day is a new day. Every moment is a new moment...So now you got to go out and show them that you a different creature now than I was five minutes ago. Cause I’m pissed off for greatness. Because you ain’t pissed off for greatness, that mean you OK with being mediocre."

I love that quote because like he says every day is a new day and you must make it a better day than the one before. I treat that almost as a challenge, how can I make today better than yesterday. Also, if you give me a chance to play at your school, I promise you that it will be worth it in the end. You won't have to worry about tutors to keep my grades up, or coaches hounding me about getting in the weight room or eating right. I will do what I need to do to get the job done and then go back for some more and drag someone else up with me. Because for me, I am not OK with being mediocre or even extra ordinary I want to be Legendary. I look forward to speaking with you or a member of your staff in the near future!

Sincerely,

Ethan Miller
